FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Our prices vary depending on the specific vessel and package you select and the number of guests you have onboard. The main expense is the vessel hire, which is charged at an hourly or daily rate, usually with a minimum booking requirement of 3-4 hours.
Any food, beverages, wait staff, wharf fees and entertainment will incur additional fees.

Our vessel hire rate includes the exclusive hire of the yacht, her captain, and marine crew.

You will need to pay a deposit of 50% of the vessel hire fee to secure your chosen yacht.

We offer a range of beverage and catering packages, including options appropriate for special dietary requirements. Our catering options include formal seated dining menus, buffets and roving canapés. You can choose from a selection of tiered beverage packages or opt for ‘beverages on consumption.’

BYO is permitted on most of our vessels, subject to payment of a BYO surcharge to cover cups, ice, rubbish disposal, etc. The surcharge varies between vessels and may be charged at a flat rate or per person. If you intend to BYO alcoholic drinks, you will be required to provide enough food per person to comply with Responsible Service of Alcohol guidelines.

Our fleet includes vessels with capacity ranging from 2 to 420 guests. Feel free to contact us for assistance finding the best vessel to suit your needs.

Most of our superyachts have a strict ‘no shoes’ policy, with slippers available on request. Shoes are permitted on many of our other vessels, with the exception of stilettoes heels (nothing with a heel diameter narrower than a 20c piece).
Your charter manager will provide more information about the footwear policy on your chosen vessel.

Our vessels can access most of the wharves around Sydney harbour, including the CBD, Eastern Suburbs, Inner West, and North Shore.
Wharves are booked in advance and are for a maximum of 15 minutes. All guests will need to board or disembark the vessel within this period.
Wharf locations outside of Central Sydney Harbour may incur an additional ‘travel’ fee. Please refer to our Sydney Wharves page for more information and Wharf map.

We ask all guests to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to their scheduled boarding time to ensure that no one is running late, disrupts your charter or misses the boat!

Most of our vessels allow swimming when the boat is at anchor. Your Captain will determine an appropriate swimming location on the day and advise when it is safe to enter the water. Guests under the influence of alcohol may be denied permission to swim if the Captain considers it unsafe.
Some of our vessels require the presence of a lifeguard if you wish to swim. This will need to be arranged in advance and will incur an additional fee.

A limited number of fresh towels are available on our vessels. However, we ask all guests to bring their own beach towels with them if they intend to swim.

Absolutely! Children of all ages are welcome. If there will be children on your charter, you must let us know in advance to ensure appropriate life jackets will be available onboard.

Unfortunately not. All of our vessels have a dedicated Captain and Crew.

Smoking is not permitted in the yacht’s interior. However, many of our vessels do have a designated smoking area which will be available when the boat is safely at anchor.

Of course! You can connect to your vessel’s sound system via Aux or Bluetooth.

We can accommodate a DJ on most of our vessels and a live band on some of our larger Superyachts and Function Vessels. You can arrange your own DJ/band, or we can organise one for you.

Absolutely! We generally provide a window of time prior to your charter to ‘bump in’ and set up the boat. We have some great suppliers who are familiar with our vessels, so please discuss these options with your Charter Manager.

The Captain’s contact details will be provided in your Final Charter Confirmation. Your Charter Manager will also be available to help you with any queries along the way.

As long as your Yacht and Crew are available, you can extend your charter on the day.
Any additional costs can be paid once your charter is complete.

Unfortunately, we can’t control the weather.
Our Yachts go out in all weather conditions, so your charter will go ahead even in inclement weather. Rest assured that all of our vessels have plenty of undercover and interior space, so everyone will stay warm, dry, and have a great time!
Your captain will always cruise the most sheltered parts of the Harbour to maximise your comfort and enjoyment.

Once you’re ready to proceed, we’ll send a booking form and charter agreement for you to complete. You’ll also need to pay a charter deposit. The remaining balance must be paid at least 14 days prior to your charter date.

Payments can be made via EFT and Credit Card. All Credit Card payments will incur a 2.5% merchant fee surcharge.

A security deposit ranging from $1,500 – $5,000 is required for all half- and full-day charters. This amount may vary for extended and multi-day charters. The security deposit will be fully refunded post-charter as long as no loss or damage is caused to the vessel, its fittings or equipment, by any guest of the charter.

Surcharges apply on all public holidays, with rates depending on your choice of vessel and the specific holiday. For more information, please contact us.

Unfortunately not, as we will already have made catering arrangements.
Final guest numbers are required 14 days prior to your charter date. After that time, you may increase guest numbers, but you cannot reduce them.

For information on our cancellation policy, please contact us.

The A.P.A. is an advance payment required to fund the estimated costs you will incur during an extended or multi-day charter. It will vary according to your choice of vessel, location and type of charter, but is usually around 20-30% of the total vessel hire fee.

The costs of any consumed food and beverages, fuel, mooring costs and port fees, transportation, special requests and supplies, and additional services that you incur onboard will be deducted from the A.P.A. Any remaining funds will be fully refunded post-charter.
